AC MILAN WANT RVP TO REPLACE IBRAHIMOVIC

AC Milan want Van Persie to replace Ibrahimovic
AC Milan have joined the race to sign Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, according to reports in Italy.
Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport says the Serie A giants are ready to make a move following the £31m sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris St Germain.
The transfer means Milan need a replacement quickly – and they see van Persie, who has only a year left on his contract at the Emirates, as good value at £20m.
Manchester United and Manchester City are also vying for the Dutchman’s signature but Arsenal, who would rather not sell at all, would be much happier for him to move abroad than stay in the Premier League.
Gazzetta says the player’s agent has been sounded out by Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani but there has been no contact between Arsenal and Milan so far. Juventus are also said to be in the race.
